TRIESTE, Italy – 7 July 2026 – Fincantieri has signed a contract with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts, to construct a third ultra-luxury hospitality vessel. According to the official press release, delivery is scheduled for 2031, with the ship to be designed and built at Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard.

The agreement remains subject to financing and other customary terms and conditions. Fincantieri has classified the contract as a “large” cruise order, a category it uses for agreements valued between €500 million and €1 billion. The company did not disclose a specific contract price.

Third vessel expands Four Seasons Yachts fleet

The newbuild will become the third vessel in the Four Seasons Yachts class developed by Fincantieri. It follows Four Seasons I, which was delivered earlier in 2026, and a second ship scheduled to enter service at the beginning of 2028.

Fincantieri described the latest contract as a continuation of its long-term relationship with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD. The order extends a shipbuilding programme centred on ultra-luxury hospitality vessels that combine yacht-style design with residential accommodation.

The official announcement refers to the newbuild as the third vessel in the class but does not provide an official ship name. It also does not confirm an inaugural season, deployment programme or itinerary details.

Residential-style design retained

The third vessel will follow the all-suite, residential-style concept introduced aboard the first ship in the class. It will measure 207 metres in length and have a gross tonnage of approximately 34,000.

Suites will be designed to strengthen guests’ connection with the sea through large terraces and open-air living areas. Further information about suite numbers, passenger capacity, dining venues and public spaces was not included in the announcement.

Four Seasons I was developed under Fincantieri’s Navis Sapiens vision, which the shipbuilder introduced as part of its approach to digitally enabled and adaptable vessels. The third ship will continue the broader collaboration between Fincantieri, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD and Four Seasons Yachts.

Construction planned for Ancona

Pierroberto Folgiero, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Fincantieri, said: “This new order marks another significant step in the development of the partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD.”

Fincantieri said the project would reinforce Ancona’s position as its centre for ultra-luxury shipbuilding. The Italian yard is responsible for the design and construction of the vessels in the Four Seasons Yachts series.

The shipbuilder operates across the cruise, naval and offshore sectors, as well as marine systems, digital technologies and after-sales support. Its production network comprises 18 shipyards worldwide, while its operations in Italy include approximately 13,000 direct employees.

The 2031 delivery will extend the Four Seasons Yachts newbuild programme beyond the launch of its first two ships. No construction milestones or further delivery details were announced.
