27 AUGUST 2026: Cunard has unveiled more than 590 curated shore experiences for its 2027 World Voyages aboard Queen Anne and Queen Victoria, covering destinations in South America, Asia, Australia, Africa and other regions, in a company-distributed announcement.
Queen Anne will make her maiden visit to South America, while Queen Victoria will undertake a Full World Voyage from Southampton. Shore experiences across the two programmes include Rio Carnival, Machu Picchu, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Cape Town.
“Cunard has been pioneering World Voyages for more than a century, taking guests on extraordinary journeys aboard the most iconic ships at sea. Our 2027 voyages continue that proud tradition, combining thoughtfully curated itineraries with immersive experiences that bring each destination to life,” said Katie McAlister, president of Cunard.
Queen Anne Makes Maiden South America Visit
Queen Anne will make her maiden visit to South America with 15 maiden calls in South American destinations. Cunard is offering the programme in different versions, including a 90-night round trip from Hamburg departing 5 January 2027 and a separate 82-night round trip from Southampton beginning 10 January.
The itinerary includes seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in destinations across Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Argentina. It also features maiden calls at Casablanca in Morocco and Bridgetown in Barbados, along with a visit to the Turks and Caicos Islands.
An overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro will coincide with Rio Carnival. Cunard’s shore experiences include access to VIP Camarote areas and front-row parade views, alongside daytime visits to Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer.
Machu Picchu and Buenos Aires Feature in Shore Programme
A four-day overland experience to Machu Picchu is among the options available during Queen Anne’s voyage. Guests will leave the ship in Arica, Chile, before travelling into Peru and rejoining the vessel in Callao.
During an overnight call in Buenos Aires, shore experiences include a tango performance, wine tastings, a culinary walking tour and a hosted dinner with a local family.
Queen Victoria Embarks on 109-Night World Voyage
Queen Victoria will depart Southampton on 10 January 2027 for a 109-night Full World Voyage, visiting 32 ports. Overnight stays are scheduled in New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cape Town and Madeira.
Maiden calls will include Dakar in Senegal, Durban in South Africa and Acajutla in El Salvador.
In Hong Kong, shore experiences include Cantonese dining, harbour sightseeing and visits to Lantau Island. Sydney options include an evening climb of Sydney Harbour Bridge, excursions into the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains and visits to the Hunter Valley wine region.
Cape Town experiences include visits to Table Mountain and Groot Constantia, described by Cunard as South Africa’s oldest wine farm. Other options include excursions to Hout Bay and Duiker Island.
Shorter Sectors Available
Both programmes can also be booked in shorter sectors, allowing guests to join Queen Anne or Queen Victoria for selected portions of their respective itineraries. Queen Victoria sectors are available from seven nights.
Guests sailing on Queen Victoria’s Full World Voyage or Queen Anne’s South America Discovery can enjoy benefits including a commemorative gift, cocktail receptions, a shoreside celebration event, dedicated concierge service, access to a private lounge and included hotel and dining service charges.
Across the two 2027 voyages, Cunard is offering more than 590 curated shore experiences spanning cultural, historical, culinary and outdoor activities.
