Celebrity River Cruises is Celebrity Cruises’ river-cruise offering, with operations scheduled to begin in Europe in August 2027.

The programme will initially operate on the Rhine and Danube, using purpose-designed river ships. The first vessels include Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker, with additional ships scheduled to expand the fleet.  

Onboard features announced for the river fleet include Skylight Infinite Balcony Suites, king-size beds, open-air spaces and destination-focused dining. Celebrity Seeker will accommodate up to 172 guests and includes Magic Edge cantilevered dining pods and hybrid propulsion systems. 

Voyage fares include meals, beverages including alcohol, Wi-Fi, entertainment and one shore excursion per day. 

Inaugural European programme

The first season focuses on seven-night Rhine and Danube itineraries, including routes linking cities such as Amsterdam, Basel, Vienna, Budapest and Nuremberg, together with Christmas market and New Year departures.

Celebrity River Cruises extends Celebrity Cruises from ocean cruising into European river travel and forms part of the wider Royal Caribbean Group portfolio which includes Royal Caribbean International and Silversea.
