PALM BEACH, Florida – 24 August 2026: SeaDream Yacht Club has announced SeaDream III, the first new yacht to join its fleet in 25 years. Reservations for the yacht’s inaugural voyages opened on 1 September, according to the company’s official press release.
Scheduled to debut in July 2029, SeaDream III will begin its operations in Asia before continuing to destinations across six continents, 73 countries and 364 ports during its first 24 months.

With SeaDream III, the whole world becomes our destination.”
Yacht designed for intimate voyages
At approximately 151 metres in length, SeaDream III will accommodate around 200 guests, supported by a crew of nearly the same number.
Accommodation will span five decks, with a wider selection of suites, Commodore staterooms and connecting configurations. Private balconies will be available across four guest decks, while larger suites and staterooms will provide additional space for guests travelling on individual voyages or longer journeys.
The yacht will feature open-air areas across its upper decks, including a dedicated pool deck and indoor and al fresco spaces for dining, socialising and relaxation.
Three dedicated watersports marinas will provide direct access to the sea. The yacht will also include expanded spa, fitness and wellness facilities.
“SeaDream has never been about size for its own sake,” Brynestad said. “Our focus is creating fantastic days and unforgettable experiences for every guest. SeaDream III gives us the opportunity to bring that experience to more places around the world.”
Maiden voyage to Tokyo
SeaDream III will depart Hong Kong on its maiden voyage on 10 July 2029. The 10-night sailing will travel through the Ryukyu Islands and along Japan’s Pacific coast before arriving in Tokyo for the yacht’s official christening on 21 July.
The itinerary will include extended stays in Ishigaki and Yakushima, as well as calls in Okinawa, Amami Oshima, Kochi and Shimizu.
The inaugural season will continue with voyages around Japan and South Korea. Four 14-night round-trip voyages from Tokyo will combine northern and western Japan with South Korea, followed by a 15-night voyage from Tokyo to Hong Kong via Japan’s southern islands.
Ports and destinations listed for the season include Hakodate, Aomori, Akita, Kanazawa, Hiroshima, Kobe and Osaka. The programme will also include Mount Fuji views from Shimizu and Tagonoura, Japan’s Inland Sea, and calls at Busan and Jeju in South Korea.
Global deployment and World Voyage
After its initial Japan season, SeaDream III will continue to Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. The planned voyages include Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Komodo, the Great Barrier Reef and Tasmania, with the programme culminating in a New Year’s celebration in Sydney.
In 2030, the yacht will sail from Asia to India, the Arabian Peninsula and the Mediterranean before arriving in London. It will then visit the British Isles, the Baltic, coastal Norway, Svalbard, Greenland and Iceland.
The itinerary will continue across the North Atlantic to Canada, through the St Lawrence and into the Great Lakes, with calls including Montreal, Chicago, Toronto and Detroit. SeaDream III will later sail along the US East Coast before beginning voyages in the Caribbean, Central America, Colombia’s Caribbean coast and Panama.
During her inaugural years, SeaDream III will also be presented through a series of global yacht showcases in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Auckland, Sydney, Mumbai, London, Oslo, Boston and West Palm Beach.
On 5 January 2031, SeaDream III will depart West Palm Beach on a 180-night World Voyage to London. The itinerary will include the Panama Canal, the Pacific coast of South America, the South Pacific, Australia, Indonesia, Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, India, the Arabian Peninsula, Egypt, Jordan and the Mediterranean before concluding in London on 5 July 2031.
Reservations for SeaDream III opened today, 1 September 2026.
