GENEVA, 2 September 2026: MSC Cruises has outlined its winter 2026/2027 programme, which will span 168 destinations across 72 countries and include the inaugural season of MSC World Asia, Mediterranean itineraries, Northern Europe sailings, Caribbean and Antilles deployment, and Canary Islands and Madeira cruises, according to the cruise line’s official press release.
The programme will combine seven-night voyages with longer sailings across several regions, supported by a fleet that includes six ships in the Mediterranean, nine in the Caribbean and Antilles, MSC Preziosa in Northern Europe and MSC Fantasia in the Canary Islands and Madeira.
MSC World Asia Begins Mediterranean Service
MSC World Asia is scheduled to begin her inaugural season on 4 December 2026 with seven-night Mediterranean itineraries calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta. The latest World Class ship will feature design elements influenced by Asian culture, art and landscapes. Onboard features listed by MSC Cruises include more than 40 bars, lounges and restaurants, a new Pan-Asian street food concept, an 81.3-metre dry slide and The Harbour outdoor area, which includes the Cliffhanger over-water swing ride positioned 50 metres above the sea.
Across the wider Mediterranean programme, MSC World Asia will be joined by MSC Euribia, MSC Magnifica, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Lirica and MSC Orchestra. Seven-night itineraries will visit destinations in Spain, France, Italy, Malta, Tunisia, Greece and Turkey, including Barcelona, Civitavecchia for Rome, Istanbul, Valletta and Piraeus for Athens. MSC Lirica will also operate 10- to 12-night voyages to Cyprus, Egypt, Croatia and Greece, while MSC Magnifica will offer 10-night itineraries to Morocco and Spain.
Northern Europe and Canary Islands Feature
MSC Preziosa will operate seven-night Northern Europe sailings during the winter season, calling at Hamburg, Rotterdam for Amsterdam, Cherbourg, Zeebrugge for Bruges and Brussels, Le Havre for Paris and Southampton for London.
The itineraries will provide access to cities including London, Paris and Amsterdam, as well as winter visits to Bruges, Brussels and Hamburg.
In the Atlantic islands, MSC Fantasia will sail seven-night itineraries to the Canary Islands and Madeira. Calls will include Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Puerto del Rosario, Funchal, Arrecife and Las Palmas.
MSC Cruises also highlighted destinations and attractions across the islands, including volcanic landscapes in Lanzarote and La Palma, Maspalomas Beach in Gran Canaria and Funchal in Madeira.
Nine Ships Assigned to Caribbean and Antilles
Nine ships will operate in the Caribbean and Antilles during winter 2026/2027: MSC World America, MSC World Europa, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Opera, MSC Poesia, MSC Seascape, MSC Seaside and MSC Seashore. The programme will include short cruises, seven-night itineraries and longer sailings to destinations including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Saint Lucia, Grand Turk Island and The Bahamas.
Many itineraries will also call at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas. The season will mark MSC Cruises’ first departures from La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
Winter Programme Covers Multiple Regions
Across the winter 2026/2027 deployment, MSC Cruises will offer a mix of Mediterranean, Northern European, Caribbean, Antilles and Atlantic island itineraries, with multiple embarkation ports and Fly & Cruise options also available. The programme will combine warmer-weather destinations with European city itineraries across the winter period.
