SEATTLE, 27 August, 2026 Seabourn has announced the first lineup of speakers from The Atlantic who will participate in Seabourn Conversations during selected fall 2026 voyages aboard Seabourn Ovation.

The programme will feature David Frum, Megan Garber, Yvonne Rolzhausen and Evan Smith as part of a three-year partnership between Seabourn and The Atlantic. The collaboration, announced earlier in 2026, will include further programming in 2027 and culminate in an exclusive voyage aboard Seabourn Quest in October 2028.

First speakers join Seabourn Ovation

Megan Garber and Yvonne Rolzhausen will join guests during Seabourn Ovation’s 13-Day Atlantic Coast: Lighthouses & New England Charms voyage, sailing from 31 October to 13 November 2026.

Megan Garber is a staff writer at The Atlantic whose work explores the intersection of culture and media while Yvonne Rolzhausen is managing editor and heads fact-checking at The Atlantic. David Frum and Evan Smith will participate in the 8-Day Southern Caribbean Gems voyage, sailing from 20 to 28 November 2026. Frum is a staff writer and host of the weekly podcast The David Frum Show. He writes on policy, politics, art, literature and history. Smith is managing director of events for The Atlantic.

“One of the most powerful things about travel is its ability to change the way we see the world,” said Kacy Cole, chief marketing officer for Seabourn. “Our partnership with The Atlantic brings together two brands united by intellectual curiosity and a desire to explore more deeply. By bringing some of today’s most compelling voices aboard, we’re creating conversations that spark new ideas, broaden perspectives and make meaningful discovery an even more defining part of the Seabourn experience.”

“Our first events aboard Seabourn are an exceptional way to begin this partnership, reflecting the range of topics, expertise, and storytelling that define The Atlantic,” said Smith, who leads the magazine’s events.

Partnership extends beyond 2026

Seabourn Conversations brings authors, experts and other speakers aboard selected sailings for discussions covering culture, science, history and the arts. The partnership with The Atlantic will also provide guests on selected voyages with access to digital content. Curated libraries across the Seabourn fleet will feature recent issues of the magazine and books by current and historical Atlantic writers.

“Our first events aboard Seabourn are an exceptional way to begin this partnership, reflecting the range of topics, expertise, and storytelling that define The Atlantic,” said Smith, managing director of events for The Atlantic. Further programming involving The Atlantic is expected to be announced for 2027.

Exclusive 2028 voyage planned

The partnership is scheduled to culminate with the 12-day With The Atlantic: A Seabourn Conversations Exclusive voyage aboard Seabourn Quest, departing 4 October 2028 during Seabourn’s 40th anniversary year.

The voyage will feature exclusive editorial programming developed with The Atlantic and inspired by The Atlantic Festival, bringing together journalism, ideas and cultural conversation.
