Southampton, UK, 06 May 2026 – Cunard has announced its 2028 programme, which includes 190 voyages across 36 countries. The schedule runs from April 2028 to January 2029 and features 125 ports worldwide, 98 UNESCO World Heritage sites, 19 overnight stays and 37 late‑evening departures.
Liverpool gathering and Queen‑to‑Queen voyages
A centrepiece of the 2028 collection is the Four Queens Celebration, taking place in Liverpool in May 2028 — the first time all four Cunard Queens will unite in the city. The gathering coincides with Liverpool’s 20th anniversary of being named European Capital of Culture and forms part of a year‑long programme of maritime, music and cultural events.
Cunard said guests can join the Four Queens Celebration through a series of dedicated voyages, including a 40‑night itinerary from Southampton to Civitavecchia, near Rome, departing 16 April 2028 and concluding on 26 May 2028. This sailing includes the Norwegian Fjords, a range of European ports and the Liverpool event.
The line also highlighted its Queen‑to‑Queen voyages, which allow guests to combine back‑to‑back sailings on two, three or all four Queens for extended journeys.
The wider 2028 programme includes iconic Transatlantic Crossings, Independence Day celebrations in Boston, a broad range of European itineraries from Southampton and four maiden calls for Queen Victoria: Aberdeen (Scotland), Olbia and Taranto (Italy), and Måløy (Norway).
Queen Mary 2 itineraries
Cunard said Queen Mary 2, described in the release as the world’s only ocean liner, will continue to feature on Transatlantic Crossings. The ship will also operate her first eastbound crossing from New York to Liverpool for the Four Queens Celebration.
Beyond the Atlantic, Queen Mary 2 will sail in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canada and the Caribbean. Cunard highlighted an overnight stay in Boston for Independence Day celebrations, a return to Gaspé in Canada for the first time in 11 years, a North Cape voyage in Norway and an overnight stay in Tromsø during a Northern Lights sailing.
Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Anne
Queen Victoria’s 2028 programme will be based roundtrip from Southampton, with itineraries focused on European destinations. Cunard said the ship will sail to Scandinavia and Northern Europe, with overnight stays in Stockholm, Reykjavík, Oslo and Copenhagen, plus late-evening departures within the Arctic Circle. It added that Queen Victoria will also return to Mediterranean destinations for the first time in more than a decade, including Albania, Cyprus, Turkey and Tunisia.
Queen Elizabeth will spend summer 2028 in the Mediterranean. Cunard said the ship will call at destinations across Croatia, Montenegro and Greece, and will include a maiden visit to Bari in Italy, together with an overnight stay in Istanbul.
Queen Anne will begin her 2028 season in Scandinavia and Northern Europe, including an overnight stay in Liverpool for the Four Queens Celebration. Sailing from Southampton, she will operate seven-night roundtrip voyages between Norway, and France, Spain and Portugal, with a maiden call to Le Verdon, the gateway to Bordeaux’s wine region. Cunard said Queen Anne’s programme also includes overnight stays in Oslo, Copenhagen and Lisbon, along with late-evening departures from La Palma and La Rochelle.
