Oceania Aurelia™

MIAMI, Florida – 6 May 2026 Oceania Cruises® has, for the first time, released two 180‑day Around the World voyages simultaneously as part of the inaugural programme for its new ship, Oceania Aurelia™, debuting in late 2027. The 2028 and 2029 world cruises, alongside two Grand Voyages of more than 70 days, are now available for preview, with reservations opening on 13 May 2026.

The line describes Oceania Aurelia™ as a ship purpose‑designed for extended global travel, offering an intimate, residential atmosphere for long‑duration itineraries.

World cruise plans

The 2028 Around the World voyage will sail for 180 days from Miami to New York, departing on 18 January 2028. The itinerary includes passage through the Panama Canal, calls in Hawaii and French Polynesia, time in Australia including an overnight stay in Sydney, and visits across Southeast Asia, Japan, India, the Arabian Peninsula and the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic to New York.

The 2028 voyage will also include Oceania Aurelia™’s official christening in Miami in January 2028, before the ship departs on its first global voyage.

The 2029 Around the World voyage is scheduled to run for 180 days from Los Angeles to New York, departing on 6 January 2029. Oceania Cruises said the sailing will follow the Pacific coast of the Americas, include Easter Island and Peru, and offer the opportunity to visit Machu Picchu, before continuing through the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, India, the Arabian Peninsula and the Mediterranean, then ending in New York.

The company said both voyages include overnight port stays in destinations such as Papeete, Bora Bora, Sydney, Bali, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai, Seville and Bordeaux. It also said select Mid-Cruise Overland Programmes will include access to Machu Picchu in Peru, Petra in Jordan and the Taj Mahal in India, with nearly 100 UNESCO World Heritage sites within reach across each circumnavigation.

“We are thrilled to welcome Oceania Aurelia™, The Ultimate Explorer, to the fleet next year. She will be perfectly designed for extended global travel, so to be able to launch two Around the World voyages plus spectacular Grand Voyages at the same time is a true milestone for us. These incredible itineraries will pique the interests of curious travelers who want to explore the world in elegant comfort with the chance to enjoy more time ashore and experience well-loved and new favorite destinations in depth,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises.
