Fort Lauderdale, Florida – 8 September 2026: Princess Cruises has opened its “Share Your Princess Story” contest to Captain’s Circle Elite members, offering four winners the opportunity to ride aboard the cruise line’s floral float in the 138th Rose Parade® presented by Honda on 1 January 2027 in Pasadena, California.
Entries are open through 22 September 2026. Each winner will receive a trip for two to Pasadena, with the winning Princess guest also given the opportunity to ride on the float as it travels along Colorado Boulevard on New Year’s Day.
Contest open to Captain’s Circle Elite members
Eligible Captain’s Circle Elite members can enter by submitting a 300- to 500-word essay focused on the memories, connections and destinations that have shaped their experiences with Princess Cruises. The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, as well as Canada excluding Quebec. Entrants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry and must have completed 15 cruises or 150 cruise days with Princess Cruises by the start of the contest.
Four winners will be selected by 6 October 2026. Each will receive a trip for two to Pasadena, with the winner able to ride aboard the Princess Cruises float during the 2027 Rose Parade®.

Princess returns for second consecutive Rose Parade®
Princess Cruises will take part in the Rose Parade® for a second consecutive year with a destination-inspired float titled “Welcome Aboard – Find Your Story.”
The float has been created around the 2027 Pasadena Tournament of Roses® theme, “Welcome,” and is designed to reflect discovery, connection and a sense of belonging through travel. Artistic Entertainment Services is designing and building the float, which will measure approximately 55 feet long and 22 feet high. More than 320,000 flowers, seeds, bark, leaves and other natural materials will be used in its construction.
Floral textures, colour and animation will represent several Princess destinations, including Alaska, Japan, Australia and Europe.
Rose Parade® to draw major audience
The Rose Parade attracts approximately 800,000 spectators along Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena and more than 28 million television viewers in the United States, with millions more watching internationally. The 2027 appearance will place four Captain’s Circle Elite members aboard the cruise line’s floral float as Princess participates in the event for a second consecutive year.
Princess has welcomed millions of guests aboard its ships over more than 60 years, with the contest centred on experiences ranging from milestone celebrations and multigenerational holidays to friendships, relationships and memorable moments ashore.
