Fort Lauderdale, Florida – 24 September 2026: Princess Cruises has outlined its 2026 holiday programme, with festive sailings to Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico and the Panama Canal, alongside seasonal entertainment and activities across its fleet.
The programme covers sailings from Thanksgiving through New Year’s. Princess highlighted four holiday voyages aboard Discovery Princess, Caribbean Princess, Regal Princess and Ruby Princess. Holiday cruises for 2027 are also on sale.
“The magic of the holidays at sea begins the moment guests pack their bags,” said Denise Saviss, Princess Cruises Vice President, Entertainment. “From tree lighting festivals to holiday music filling our decks, our sparkling ships and holiday festivities are rooted in tradition and filled with shared moments that sail home with our guests.”
Four festive voyages highlighted
Discovery Princess will operate a seven-day Mexican Riviera voyage departing roundtrip from Los Angeles from 21 to 28 November 2026.
Caribbean Princess will offer a 12-day Panama Canal with Costa Rica and Caribbean Holiday sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale from 17 to 29 December.
Regal Princess is scheduled to operate a six-day Eastern Caribbean with Celebration Key Holiday voyage from Fort Lauderdale from 20 to 26 December.
Ruby Princess will offer a 16-day Hawaiian Islands Holiday voyage departing roundtrip from San Francisco on 26 December 2026 and returning on 11 January 2027.
Princess said limited space remains available on some Thanksgiving-through-New-Year’s departures. The cruise line also said 2027 holiday cruises are on sale.
Holiday activities across fleet
Ships across the Princess fleet will feature seasonal décor, including sparkling trees, garlands, twinkling lights and festive floral arrangements. Programming will vary by ship. Sphere Class and Royal Class ships will feature a Tree Lighting Celebration with a full-cast performance, while other ships will host a more intimate Festive Tree Lighting featuring vocalists.
Selected ships will offer Merry Moments and “Let it Snow” experiences, including snow in the Piazza and other festive surprises. Holly Jolly Sweater Parties will feature creative attire, a holiday silent disco, candlelight concerts and festive singalongs. The Festive Family Faire will offer arts and crafts for all ages, alongside a family event where guests can wear festive pyjamas and sweaters.
Additional activities will include gingerbread house making and Storytime with Stanley. Star Princess and Sun Princess will feature Piazza Magical Moments, with falling snow and seasonal content displayed on their LED screens.
Holiday films will be shown through Movies Under the Stars and made available in staterooms. Food and beverage programming will include special menus and demonstrations covering turkey carving, holiday cookies and cocktails, as well as hot chocolate stations. Inclusive religious observances will also form part of the programme.
The specific mix of activities will vary by ship. Princess Cruises has also opened sales for its 2027 holiday sailings.
