GENEVA, 7 October 2026 – MSC Cruises has revealed the entertainment programme for MSC World Asia, its newest World Class ship, ahead of the vessel’s Mediterranean debut on 4 December 2026.
The ship will offer six theatrical productions across the World Theatre and Panorama Lounge, including four new shows. Three new productions will feature in the World Theatre, while the Panorama Lounge will introduce a new live music spectacle. Returning favourites Hall of Fame and Queen Symphonic will also make their Mediterranean debuts.
MSC World Asia, the third vessel in MSC Cruises’ World Class series, will feature 13 new or redesigned experiences and spaces compared with MSC World Europa. Its design will incorporate elements reflecting Asian culture, art and landscapes.
Four World Theatre Productions Confirmed
The World Theatre will present four productions, including three newly developed shows.
La NoTte, created with Only Child, combines music, dance and cinematic storytelling in a residence suspended in time, following lovers and misfits through memories of a night that refuses to fade.
Sensoria, developed by tbi “The Big Idea”, explores the five senses through music, movement and cirque performance, incorporating sight, sound, touch, taste and smell into its theatrical concept.
Ritmo Divino, produced in partnership with 2 Creative Entertainment, combines Flamenco and contemporary interpretations of Spanish folklore. Its storyline centres on a tragic romance between a young Flamenco dancer and a matador.
The fourth production, Hall of Fame, brings to the Mediterranean a concert-style experience capturing the energy of live music award shows and iconic pop moments, honouring generational artists.
Panorama Lounge Introduces New Musical Production
The Panorama Lounge will host two symphonic productions, led by the newly created Sunset Symphonic.
The show combines recorded orchestral arrangements of pop and dance music with live singers, musicians, choreography and aerial performances.
Returning production Queen Symphonic will also make its Mediterranean debut. The performance features an exclusively filmed 36-piece symphonic orchestra alongside a live rock band, vocalists, dancers and acrobats, presenting music by Queen through a combination of rock and orchestral arrangements.
Daily Live Music Across Multiple Venues
Beyond the theatrical programme, MSC World Asia will feature 33 musicians performing daily across the ship.
The live music programme will include roaming musicians, solo performers, live bands and MSC Cruises’ duelling pianos experience.
Additional entertainment and activities will be available across Luna Park, The Harbour and the new Clubhouse, alongside the World Theatre and Panorama Lounge.
