GENEVA, 16 September 2026: MSC Cruises has announced that MSC Euribia will operate seven-night Canary Islands and Madeira cruises during the winter 2027-28 season, placing one of the newest ships in its fleet on the Atlantic islands programme.
The deployment will mark the fourth season of the itinerary and reinforce MSC Cruises’ long-term commitment to the region.
The cruise line said the continued deployment reflects the popularity of winter cruises in the Canary Islands, where the climate, range of destinations and embarkation options attract guests from across Europe and other parts of the world.
Four embarkation ports for winter programme
MSC Euribia’s seven-night itinerary will include Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Funchal in Madeira, Lanzarote and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, together with a day at sea. Guests will be able to embark from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Funchal, Arrecife or Santa Cruz de La Palma.
The programme combines volcanic landscapes, historic towns, local cuisine and cultural attractions across the Atlantic islands. MSC Cruises said the itinerary provides sustained economic benefits during the winter season by bringing guests to multiple islands and supporting local ports, tourism businesses, tour operators, transport providers and other suppliers.

MSC Euribia to bring wider onboard offering
MSC Euribia is one of the newest ships in the MSC Cruises fleet and is described by the company as one of its most advanced vessels. At the centre of the ship is Galleria Euribia, an indoor promenade beneath an LED dome, surrounded by international and speciality restaurants, shops and entertainment venues.
Families have access to dedicated facilities for children and teenagers, pools and one of the largest waterparks in the MSC Cruises fleet. MSC Euribia also features the MSC Yacht Club, the cruise line’s luxury ship-within-a-ship concept offering greater privacy and personalised service.
Powered by liquefied natural gas, MSC Euribia features technologies designed to support lower-emission operations. These include shore power connectivity, advanced wastewater treatment systems, comprehensive waste management capabilities and energy-efficiency technologies intended to optimise fuel consumption and reduce emissions.
MSC Fantasia to take over Mediterranean itinerary
As part of the winter 2027-28 deployment, MSC Fantasia will operate MSC Euribia’s current seven-night Western Mediterranean itinerary.
The ship will sail round-trip from Barcelona and call at Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Palermo and La Goulette, with a day at sea. Embarkation will also be available at several ports along the itinerary.
The deployment will allow MSC Cruises to maintain what the company describes as a strong and accessible winter programme in one of its core regions.
Sales open on 28 September
Sales for MSC Euribia’s winter 2027-28 Canary Islands and Madeira cruises, together with MSC Fantasia’s Western Mediterranean sailings, will open on 28 September 2026.
Bookings will be available through the MSC Cruises website, contact centre and travel agent partners.
