MSC Cruises Revises Winter 2027/2028 Deployment Across Caribbean and Mediterranean

GENEVA, 20 August 2026: MSC Cruises has announced updates to its Winter 2027/2028 deployment, with MSC World Asia scheduled to sail in the South Caribbean and MSC World Europa remaining in the Western Mediterranean.

MSC World Asia heads to the South Caribbean

MSC World Asia will operate seven and 14-night itineraries in the South Caribbean during the winter season. Embarkation will be available from Fort-de-France in Martinique, Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe and Bridgetown in Barbados. The itineraries will include calls at Castries in Saint Lucia; St. George’s in Grenada; Philipsburg in St. Maarten; St. John’s in Antigua and Barbuda; Basseterre in Saint Kitts and Nevis; Roseau in Dominica; and Kingstown in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

MSC World Asia, described by MSC Cruises as its new flagship, will feature the Cliffhanger over-water swing thrill ride, the largest Venchi chocolate experience at sea, dedicated family attractions, entertainment venues and expansive open-air spaces designed for warm-weather cruising.

MSC World Europa remains in Western Mediterranean

Originally scheduled to sail in the Middle East, MSC World Europa will offer seven-night itineraries in the Western Mediterranean under the revised deployment. Embarkation will be available from a selection of ports across the region. The ship will visit Barcelona in Spain; Marseille in France; Genoa and Civitavecchia in Italy; Messina in Italy; and Valletta in Malta.

MSC World Europa’s onboard offering includes dining, entertainment and family facilities, alongside indoor and outdoor spaces such as the open-air World Promenade and World Galleria, speciality restaurants, bars and lounges.

Existing bookings to be updated

The deployment changes also affect guests already booked on other Winter 2027/2028 programmes.

Guests booked on MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean or MSC Meraviglia in the South Caribbean will have their bookings updated and will be contacted directly about any individual changes affecting their reservations.

Guests holding bookings for MSC World Europa’s previously scheduled Winter 2027/2028 Middle East sailings are also being contacted directly, together with their travel partners. Their options include transferring the booking to another sailing or requesting a full refund.

MSC Cruises operates 23 ships across five continents, with cruises visiting more than 100 countries and 300 destinations worldwide.
