04 August 2026 – Cruise Saudi announced through its official LinkedIn channel that it has launched the third cohort of the AROYA Cruises Ambassador Program, continuing its collaboration with Saudi universities to develop the next generation of hospitality professionals.
Fourteen Students Begin Onboard Training
The new cohort comprises 14 Saudi students taking part in a two-month immersive training programme with AROYA Cruises during its Mediterranean season. The initiative is being delivered in collaboration with the College of Tourism at King Abdulaziz University and the University of Prince Mugrin. It brings together academic partners and practical training within an operational cruise environment.
Participants will gain direct exposure to cruise hotel operations and management while completing the onboard placement. The programme is designed to provide practical industry experience connected with the delivery of hospitality services at sea.
Training Focuses on Cruise Hotel Operations
The students will receive hands-on experience across areas associated with cruise hotel operations and management during the two-month programme.
Cruise Saudi stated: “Through hands-on experience across Cruise Hotel Operations & Management, the Ambassadors will gain practical industry exposure while representing the spirit of Remarkably Arabian hospitality.”
The training takes place during AROYA Cruises’ Mediterranean season, giving the students an opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience within an active onboard operation.
Programme Supports Saudi Career Pathways
The AROYA Cruises Ambassador Program forms part of Cruise Saudi’s work to develop Saudi talent and strengthen collaboration between the cruise industry and academic institutions. The company identified the creation of sustainable career pathways in Saudi Arabia’s growing cruise tourism and hospitality sector as a central aim of the initiative.
The latest intake marks the third cohort of the programme. Through the partnership with the two universities, the 14 participating students will complete practical training intended to support their professional development within cruise hospitality and hotel operations.
