Aman at Sea Extends Amangati Caribbean Season

man at Sea adds 12 Caribbean voyages for Amangati

21 October 2026: Aman at Sea has expanded Amangati’s inaugural Caribbean programme with 12 additional voyages for winter 2028, extending the yacht’s first regional season through 20 March 2028.

The new sailings broaden Amangati’s Caribbean programme across the Dominican Republic, Martinique, Guadeloupe and the Grenadines. Aman at Sea’s official website now lists the yacht’s debut Caribbean season as operating from autumn 2027 through winter 2028.

Twelve voyages extend winter 2028 programme

The additional Caribbean itineraries range from five to eight nights and continue through 20 March 2028. Greater Antilles itineraries will carry Amangati west in January from St. Maarten and the British Virgin Islands to Hispaniola, adding Samaná, Cap Cana and La Romana in the Dominican Republic.

Windward Islands voyages will depart from St. John’s in Antigua and Bridgetown in Barbados, with calls including Saint-Pierre in Martinique, Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe and Bequia in the Grenadines.

Returning calls at Portsmouth in Dominica, Soufrière in St. Lucia, Anse d’Arlet in Martinique and Canouan in the Grenadines will also feature.

Leeward and Dutch Caribbean routes continue

The Leeward Islands programme will include Little Bay in Montserrat, Basseterre in St. Kitts, Gustavia in Saint Barthélemy, Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, Prickly Pear Cays off Anguilla and Philipsburg in St. Maarten. A dedicated Marina Day in Barbuda is also part of the programme.

In the Dutch Caribbean, voyages will return to Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, with sailings from Bridgetown and Oranjestad also incorporating Tobago Cays and St. George’s in Grenada. Aman at Sea’s published itineraries independently confirm Caribbean voyages including Bridgetown to Oranjestad and Oranjestad to Bridgetown across the ABC islands.

Late departures and anchorages shape itineraries

The Caribbean programme follows the approach outlined for Amangati’s wider itineraries, including late departures, overnight calls and a preference for anchorages where possible. Shore programming is planned around cultural, culinary and naturalist-led experiences, alongside privately arranged excursions tailored to guest interests.

At the end of the Caribbean season, Amangati is scheduled to begin its return to Europe on 20 March 2028. The 11-night Atlantic crossing will depart St. John’s, calling at Philipsburg and Gustavia before continuing to Funchal, Madeira.

Aman at Sea notes that its itineraries, offerings and specifications are proposed and subject to change.

Captain Ertan Vasvi appointed ahead of debut

Aman at Sea has also appointed Captain Ertan Vasvi to command Amangati.

Vasvi will work alongside Aman at Sea’s shore-based team through Amangati’s completion at T. Mariotti and into the inaugural season, while assembling and training the deck and bridge teams. His previous experience includes roles with Seabourn and Silversea.

“Amangati occupies a space that has not existed before, between traditional cruising and a private superyacht charter, and that asks something different of a crew,” said Captain Vasvi. “At 94 guests, technical command and genuine hospitality are held in the same hands. To join while the ship is still in build is a rare privilege and I look forward to welcoming our first guests aboard in May 2027.”

Amangati is scheduled to begin sailing in spring 2027. Aman at Sea’s official website states that the yacht will accommodate 94 guests across 47 suites, each with a private terrace.
