StarDream Cruises Secures Two Travel Weekly Asia Awards for Second Year

SINGAPORE, 2 October 2026 – StarDream Cruises, home to StarCruises and Dream Cruises, has been named Best Cruise Line – Asia and Best Cruise Line – Entertainment at the Travel Weekly Asia 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards in Singapore, securing both honours for the second consecutive year.

The recognition comes as StarDream Cruises marks more than 30 years of cruising experience in Asia and continues to offer diverse Asian and international experiences at sea.

Entertainment programme combines Asian and international experiences

StarDream Cruises’ entertainment offering includes local favourites and Asian-inspired experiences such as Durian Parties, Sakura Cruises and Pili Puppet shows, alongside appearances by culinary personalities including Chef Wan and Chef Mel.

International programming has also featured fitness personality Amotti and Forever Broadway with Broadway Asia International.

The entertainment schedule will continue aboard Genting Dream, with K-pop group KIIRAS set to perform from 25 to 27 October 2026. A new ice-skating experience under the stars is also planned for December.

Across the StarDream Cruises portfolio, more than 50 destinations have been explored to date, alongside a range of onboard entertainment and experiences.

Genting Dream sails year-round from Singapore

Dream Cruises’ flagship Genting Dream sails year-round from Singapore, with additional departures from Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang and Melaka.

Its itineraries also include Southeast Asian destinations such as Phuket, Penang and Bali, allowing guests to use the regional ports both as embarkation points and destinations during their cruises. Dream Cruises is one of the two brands within StarDream Cruises, alongside StarCruises.

Star Navigator and Star Voyager expand regional programme

StarCruises operates the mid-sized Star Navigator and Star Voyager, with itineraries focused on exploring destinations across Asia.

Star Navigator sails year-round from Keelung, with selected departures from Kaohsiung. The ship operates two- to five-night roundtrip cruises to destinations across Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong. Star Voyager sails from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang to destinations including Phuket, Krabi, Pangkor and Langkawi. In March 2027, Star Voyager is scheduled to operate special four-night cruises between Jakarta and Singapore for the Eid festive season. Guests will be able to begin the itinerary from either city.

Readers and travel professionals select award recipients

The Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards recognise travel and hospitality brands across the Asia-Pacific region.

Winners are selected through voting by Travel Weekly Asia readers and travel industry professionals.
