JEJU, SOUTH KOREA – 27 July 2026 – StarDream Cruises has received the “Special Contributor to Asia Cruise Industry Award” at the 2026 Asia Cruise Forum Jeju, according to an official press release issued by the cruise company on 27 July 2026.
The recognition was presented during the 11th Asia Cruise Awards and acknowledges StarDream Cruises’ contribution to the growth and development of the Asian cruise industry.
The award also recognises the company’s role in advancing cruise tourism across the region and strengthening cooperation among governments, tourism organisations and other industry partners.
Michael Goh Accepts Industry Recognition
Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises, accepted the award on behalf of the company during the forum in Jeju, South Korea. He received the honour from Leem Bok Soon, Secretary-General of the Asia Cruise Leaders Network.

Fleet Has Visited More Than 50 Asian Destinations
StarDream Cruises is home to the StarCruises and Dream Cruises brands. Its fleet has sailed to more than 50 destinations across Asia, offering cruise itineraries combining multiple destinations and onboard experiences.
Genting Dream, the flagship of Dream Cruises, currently operates from Singapore, with selected departures also available from Malaysia. The ship offers two, three and five-night cruises to destinations across Southeast Asia.
StarDream Cruises officially launched on 26 March 2025, combining the operations of StarCruises and Dream Cruises. The two brands provide distinct cruise products within the Asian market.
Dream Cruises operates larger ships offering premium amenities, while StarCruises uses mid-sized vessels accommodating up to 2,000 guests.
StarCruises Maintains Regional Deployments
Under the StarCruises brand, Star Voyager continues to operate from Hong Kong. Its current deployment comprises two, three and five-night cruises to destinations across Northeast Asia. The ship is scheduled to return to Singapore and Malaysia for the year-end holiday season.
Star Navigator remains homeported in Keelung, Taiwan, from where it operates two, three, five and seven-night itineraries to destinations in Japan and South Korea.
The deployments place the three StarDream Cruises vessels across several Asian homeports and regional cruise markets.
The company said it remains committed to developing cruise tourism across Asia and supporting South Korea’s position as both a cruise destination and a source market for fly-cruise travel.
