26 July, 2026: Windstar Cruises‘ Legend has begun an 80-night Star Collector voyage through Northern and Western Europe, the Baltic and the Mediterranean.
The 312-guest ship departed Stockholm on 15 July 2026 and is scheduled to conclude the Star Collector: 2026 Grand Europe Adventure in Piraeus, the port serving Athens, on 3 October. The itinerary combines consecutive European cruises into one extended sailing with few repeated ports.
Baltic and Norwegian Ports
After leaving Stockholm, Star Legend’s Baltic programme includes Tallinn, Helsinki, Liepaja, Gdynia, Bornholm and Copenhagen. The ship is scheduled to remain in Helsinki overnight before continuing towards Denmark and Norway.
Seven Norwegian destinations feature on the itinerary: Haugesund, Ålesund, Åndalsnes, Trondheim, Frøya Island, Vik and Bergen. The programme includes a combination of larger coastal cities and smaller destinations before Star Legend continues to Scotland.
The ship will then visit 16 destinations around the British Isles. Calls include Edinburgh, Invergordon, Kirkwall, Ullapool, Oban, Portrush, Douglas, Dublin, Belfast, Londonderry, Killybegs, Galway, Dingle, Cork, Waterford and the Isles of Scilly. Invergordon is scheduled as an overnight visit. Longer calls are also planned in Belfast, Cork and several other ports.
Extended Stays in France and Iberia
Star Legend will make an extended call in Rouen before visiting Honfleur, Saint-Malo, Guernsey and Lorient. A further multi-day stay is scheduled in Bordeaux before the ship continues towards Spain and Portugal.
The itinerary subsequently follows the Atlantic coasts of Spain and Portugal, with calls in Bilbao, Santander, Gijón, Vigo and Porto. An overnight visit is planned in Lisbon.
Star Legend will then sail to Seville for another overnight stay before continuing to Tangier, Málaga, Cartagena and Valencia. These calls lead into the Mediterranean section of the voyage.
Mediterranean and Greek Destinations
The western Mediterranean programme begins with Barcelona and Palamós, followed by Sanary-sur-Mer, Monaco, Cannes, Portofino, Portoferraio and Porto Ercole. Star Legend will also visit Civitavecchia, Sorrento and Messina before crossing towards Greece.
The final section includes Gythion, Monemvasia and Piraeus, followed by a call at Kuşadası in Turkey. The ship then returns to Greece for visits to Kavala, Thessaloniki, Volos and Skopelos before concluding in Piraeus. An overnight stay is scheduled in Thessaloniki, while the visit to Kuşadası extends into the evening.
Part of Windstar’s Star Collector Series
Grand Europe Adventure forms part of Windstar’s Star Collector programme, which combines two or more consecutive itineraries into extended voyages lasting at least 13 days. The programme is structured to limit repeated ports apart from the cities used between individual cruise segments.
Star Collector passengers receive complimentary daily laundry service during their voyage. The format allows guests to remain aboard the same ship while travelling through several European cruising regions.
Star Legend is an all-suite yacht accommodating 312 guests. After completing the Grand Europe Adventure, the vessel is scheduled to continue operating Mediterranean itineraries, including sailings in Greece and Turkey.
Later in the year, Star Legend is due to cross the Atlantic before beginning a winter programme that includes Central America, the Panama Canal, the Caribbean and Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
