27 JULY 2026 – Cordelia Sky will operate a series of seven-night cruises between Chennai and Singapore in summer 2027, according to the deployment published on the official Cordelia Cruises website. The programme will include calls in Thailand and Malaysia as part of the cruise line’s Southeast Asia offering.
The first sailing is scheduled to depart Chennai on 27 June 2027 and arrive in Singapore on 4 July. Cordelia Cruises will subsequently alternate voyages between the two ports, allowing passengers to begin their journey in either Chennai or Singapore.
Seven-Night Southeast Asia Itineraries
The open-jaw cruises will visit Phuket in Thailand, Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur will be served through Port Klang.
On the inaugural Chennai-to-Singapore voyage, Cordelia Sky will leave Chennai before spending two days cruising across the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean. The ship will then make an overnight visit to Phuket, followed by calls at Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur before reaching Singapore.
The first return sailing will depart Singapore on 4 July and arrive in Chennai on 11 July. Its scheduled ports include Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and Phuket, with the Phuket visit extending overnight before the ship continues towards India.
Cordelia’s published schedule currently lists eight departures, with the programme operating from late June through August 2027. These comprise four Chennai-to-Singapore voyages and four Singapore-to-Chennai sailings.
Cordelia Sky’s First Season
Cordelia Sky is scheduled to join Cordelia Cruises later in 2026 after concluding its service with Norwegian Cruise Line as Norwegian Sky. The vessel will begin operating for the India-based cruise line on 23 October 2026.
Its initial deployment will comprise short voyages from Mumbai and Goa. These sailings will range from two to five nights and include cruises to destinations on India’s west coast and in the Lakshadweep archipelago.
Published itineraries include visits to Agatti Island, Mormugao and Cochin, alongside selected cruises spent at sea. Some voyages will offer embarkation or disembarkation in Goa and Cochin in addition to departures from Mumbai.
Following this initial programme, the ship is scheduled to reposition to Chennai in late June 2027 ahead of its Southeast Asia season.
Return to Indian Cruises
After completing the Chennai–Singapore programme in August, Cordelia Sky is due to return to Mumbai for further short sailings in India.
The vessel will operate alongside Cordelia Empress in the company’s fleet. Cordelia Cruises is also scheduled to add Cordelia Sun, currently operating as Norwegian Sun, in late 2027. Cordelia Sun is expected to begin sailing for the cruise line in November 2027, expanding the fleet to three ships. Its programme will centre on short cruises from Mumbai to destinations along India’s west coast and in Lakshadweep.
