Royal Caribbean Adds New Australia and Asia Sailings for 2027-28

Ovation of the Seas, Sydney Australia

Miami, Florida – 12 AUGUST 2026: Royal Caribbean Royal Caribbean has announced an expansion of its 2027–28 Asia-Pacific season, introducing new itineraries from Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan, together with an extended Singapore deployment for Navigator of the Seas.
The updated programme includes the newly amplified Ovation of the Seas sailing from Brisbane, Voyager of the Seas operating from Brisbane and Sydney before moving to Asia, and Navigator of the Seas remaining in Singapore through October 2027. Anthem of the Seas will also sail from Sydney during the 2027-28 Australian summer season.

Ovation of the Seas Adds Brisbane Sailings

Beginning in November 2027, the newly amplified Ovation of the Seas will operate three- to eight-night cruises from Brisbane. The ship’s updated onboard offering includes a revamped pool deck with Splashaway Bay and private Casitas, Izumi Teppanyaki, Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen, the Pesky Parrot cocktail bar, an expanded Casino Royale and Sound Cellar, a late-night dancing venue. Two four-night Whitsundays cruises from Brisbane will call at Airlie Beach.

Royal Caribbean’s Australian summer season will also include Anthem of the Seas from Sydney and Voyager of the Seas from Brisbane and Sydney.

Voyager of the Seas Connects Australia and Asia

From October to December 2027, Voyager of the Seas will operate seven cruises from Brisbane ranging from two to 11 nights. South Pacific itineraries will visit Mystery Island, Port Vila and Luganville in Vanuatu, and Noumea and Lifou in New Caledonia, before the ship repositions to Sydney on a two-night coastal sailing.

Voyager will then operate five new Sydney cruises, including New Zealand itineraries. A 10-night Christmas sailing will visit Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Milford Sound. From January to April 2028, the ship will sail from Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The programme includes a five-night Singapore-to-Hong Kong cruise and seven four- and five-night round-trip sailings from Hong Kong around Chinese New Year.

Selected Hong Kong itineraries will call at Ishigaki and Okinawa, with overnight stays on some sailings. Other voyages will visit Taipei and Hue/Danang (Chan May). From late February, Voyager will operate four 10- to 12-night cruises from Tokyo during Japan’s cherry blossom season, with destinations including Osaka, Nagasaki, Kobe and Mt Fuji (Shimizu).

Navigator Extends Singapore Season

Navigator of the Seas will extend its inaugural Asia deployment through October 2027, giving the ship a full year in the region from October 2026. The Singapore programme will feature two- to five-night cruises to destinations in Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand, together with a 12-night voyage from Tokyo to Singapore. Bookings for the newly announced Navigator of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas sailings are scheduled to open on 18 August 2026. Voyager of the Seas itineraries are due to open for booking on 25 August.
