MIAMI, Florida – 6 August 2026 – Oceania Cruises® has announced Curated Conversations, a new onboard enrichment series that will bring figures from technology, film, culture and the arts aboard selected voyages from 2027. According to the cruise line’s official press release, the programme is intended to give guests opportunities to hear directly from invited speakers and take part in discussion-led sessions.
Announced speakers include Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Inc., who will sail aboard Oceania Allura™, and acclaimed actress and director Karen Allen, who will sail aboard Oceania Vista®.
Curated Conversations to Begin on Selected 2027 Voyages
Curated Conversations will move away from a conventional lecture format by placing greater emphasis on discussion. Selected sessions will be hosted by the Cruise Director as interviews, followed by an open question-and-answer segment in which guests can explore the speaker’s experiences in more detail.

The programme will debut with Wozniak and Allen on two separate itineraries during 2027. Oceania Cruises said the format is intended to create direct exchanges between guests and speakers, with discussions centred on the invited participants’ experiences and perspectives.
Steve Wozniak to Join Oceania Allura Sailing
Wozniak will join Oceania Allura™ for a roundtrip Miami voyage from 27 January to 5 February 2027. The Apple Inc. co-founder is expected to share personal insights from his role in shaping the computing revolution, along with details of his ongoing work in technology and education. The session will follow the interview-led format outlined for Curated Conversations, with an opportunity for guests to take part in an open question-and-answer discussion after the hosted conversation.
Karen Allen Scheduled Aboard Oceania Vista
Allen will sail aboard Oceania Vista® on a Los Angeles to Papeete itinerary from 11 to 28 November 2027. Her session will reflect on storytelling, creativity and a life in the arts. Allen’s work spans film, television and theatre, and she is known for roles in films including “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “Starman” and “Scrooged”, alongside her work as a director. As with other Curated Conversations sessions, the programme is designed around interaction rather than a standalone presentation, giving guests an opportunity to engage with the invited speaker through the moderated discussion and question-and-answer format.
Programme Planned to Expand Across the Fleet
Oceania Cruises said Curated Conversations will be introduced across its fleet with an expanding roster of participants. Each participant will be chosen not only for their accomplishments but also for their ability to inspire dialogue and enhance Oceania Cruises’ onboard enrichment experience. The line described the programme as part of its wider onboard enrichment offering. Oceania Cruises also said its adults-only environment provides a setting for guests to continue conversations beyond the formal sessions, including during meals and in exchanges with fellow travellers.
The cruise line said the roster will continue to expand as Curated Conversations is introduced across the fleet. The cruise line has stated that special guests are planned for the announced sailings, but appearances and programming remain subject to change.
