Cruise Lines Modify Routes in Response to Regional Security Issues.

In response to security concerns in the Middle East, several cruise lines have altered their 2025 itineraries. Princess Cruises revealed that its 2025 World Cruises aboard the Island Princess and Crown Princess will avoid the Middle East and Asia, opting to sail around Africa instead, with Cape Town taking the place of Dubai as a major turnaround port. Likewise, AIDA Cruises will continue rerouting its Dubai-bound ships around Africa for the 2025-2026 season, with AIDAprima departing from Hamburg on October 3, 2025, and passing the Cape of Good Hope on its way to Dubai.
