Costa Smeralda Becomes the First LNG Cruise Ship to Be Refueled in Dubai
In December 2024, Costa Smeralda made history as the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) cruise ship to be refueled in Dubai. The ship is currently offering week-long cruises from Dubai, visiting destinations like Muscat, Doha, and Abu Dhabi until the end of February 2025. On March 1, 2025, it will embark on a 37-day journey back to the Mediterranean, stopping at ports in Oman, Mauritius, South Africa, Namibia, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Spain, and France, before reaching Genoa on April 7, 2025.
