Celestyal Cruises embodies “authentically Greek” cruising, specialising in short, intensive voyages around the Aegean Sea’s islands, Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean. Rebranded in 2014 from Louis Cruises, the line focuses on 3–7-night itineraries from Athens (Piraeus), blending Greek hospitality, included excursions and family-friendly onboard life with modernised ships. 

The fleet—Celestyal Discovery (ex‑AIDAaura, joined 2024) and Celestyal Journey (ex‑AIDAcosma, joined 2023)—offers refurbished mid‑sized comfort for ~1,260 passengers, with balcony cabins, pools and Greek dining staples. Guests are diverse: Europeans, Americans and increasingly GCC families drawn to the value, culture and short lengths. 

Beyond Greece, Celestyal sails winter Gulf itineraries (Desert Days from Dubai/Doha) and Adriatic routes (Heavenly Adriatic to Croatia, Montenegro, Italy), plus Three Continents voyages touching Egypt, Israel and Cyprus. The 2026 programme expands Heavenly Adriatic and Idyllic Aegean sailings.
