MUMBAI, 9 September 2026 – Cordelia Cruises has detailed the onboard facilities and initial itineraries for Cordelia Sky, which is scheduled to begin its inaugural India season from Mumbai on 23 October 2026.
The ship measures 258 metres in length and 77,104 gross tonnes, with capacity for 2,004 guests at double occupancy across 1,002 staterooms. Its onboard facilities will span dining, entertainment, wellness, sport and family activities, alongside more than 30,000 square feet of open deck space.
Cordelia Sky adds facilities for 2,004 guests
Cordelia Sky will feature 10 dining venues and 11 bars and lounges. Dining choices will cover regional Indian and international cuisines, together with buffet and poolside options. Pure vegetarian and Jain meals will also be available across the venues. Entertainment will include live music, games, activities and performances. The 930-seat Marquee Theatre will stage a main production show alongside other large-scale productions and variety acts.
Outdoor and recreational facilities will comprise two swimming pools and five hot tubs. Guests will also have access to pickleball and cricket at sea, gaming and activity areas, and a fitness centre. The spa will offer treatments along with steam, sauna and salon services. Younger guests will have supervised activities, while teenagers will have a dedicated social space onboard.
Accommodation ranges from Interior rooms to Chairman’s Suites
The ship’s 1,002 staterooms will comprise 429 Interior and 313 Ocean View staterooms, 245 Mini Suites, 11 Penthouse Suites and four Chairman’s Suites. Mini Suites will offer additional space and private balconies, while the upper suite categories will provide larger layouts and additional services.
Chairman’s Suites will feature separate living, dining and bedroom areas, as well as private balconies with hot tubs. Dedicated butler and concierge services will also be provided for guests in this category.
Mumbai programme includes Goa and Lakshadweep
Cordelia Sky’s first sailing from Mumbai is scheduled for 23 October 2026, marking the start of the ship’s inaugural season in India. From Mumbai, the programme will include two-night weekend cruises, three-night Goa weekend sailings, four-night Lakshadweep cruises and five-night itineraries combining Goa and Lakshadweep.
Cordelia Cruises’ booking platform lists the 23 October departure as a three-night Goa weekend cruise from Mumbai, followed by further Cordelia Sky departures later in October and November.
Seven-night Southeast Asia sailings planned from Chennai
Cordelia Sky will also operate seven-night Southeast Asia itineraries from Chennai, connecting India with Phuket, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. A corresponding Singapore-to-Chennai itinerary will also form part of the programme, extending the ship’s deployment beyond its shorter domestic cruises from Mumbai.
The new vessel will broaden Cordelia Cruises’ schedule with a combination of short weekend breaks, Goa and Lakshadweep voyages and longer international itineraries.
Cordelia Sky is due to begin India operations on 23 October, adding another ship to the Cordelia Cruises fleet and expanding the cruise line’s range of domestic and Southeast Asia sailings.
