Celebrity Cruises Unveils Unmatched European Vacations

MIAMI, Florida – 10 August 2026: Celebrity Cruises has unveiled its 2028 and 2029 deployment, with four Edge Series ships scheduled to sail in Europe for the first time and additional programmes across Alaska, Asia, Australia, New England and South America, according to the cruise line’s official press release.

Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Apex will make up the four Edge Series ships sailing in Europe for the first time. The programme includes Celebrity Infinity’s first Egypt sailings since 2023, Celebrity Cruises’ first-ever visit to Galway, Ireland, the return of Bari, Italy, calls on Celebrity Constellation and Celebrity Infinity, and Celebrity Equinox’s first Alaska season.

Europe Programme Expands Across Four Edge Series Ships

Celebrity Beyond will return to Europe for the first time since 2023 following its 2026 renewal, operating seven- to 14-night sailings from Southampton to Norway, Iceland and Scandinavia. Its renewed offering will introduce new spaces including Mediterranean restaurant Bora and the Celebrity Pool Club, featuring Orange Peel Bar & Grille and Tacos del Sol.

Fourteen-night Celebrity Beyond itineraries will combine calls in Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri and Seydisfjordur with Norwegian destinations including Geiranger, Alesund, Flam, Nordfjordeid and Bergen. Celebrity Summit will also offer round-trip sailings from Reykjavik, allowing guests to explore Iceland further.

Celebrity Apex will offer 12-night Scandinavia sailings and new 12-night British Isles itineraries to Scotland, Ireland and England, including Celebrity Cruises’ first-ever visit to Galway. Elsewhere in Europe, Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Eclipse will operate seven- to 11-night Mediterranean voyages to Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.
Celebrity Constellation will sail 10- and 11-night Italy and Croatia itineraries, including Celebrity Cruises’ first visit to Bari since 2014. Celebrity Infinity will again operate year-round in Europe, including the line’s first Egypt sailings since 2023 with overnight visits to Alexandria.

Alaska, Hawaii and Australasia Programmes

Three ships will sail in Alaska in 2028. Celebrity Edge returns for a fifth season, Celebrity Equinox will operate its first Alaska season with seven-night sailings between Vancouver and Seward, and Celebrity Millennium will sail round-trip from Vancouver.

Celebrity Equinox guests can add a land-based Cruisetour with stays at lodges and travel by road and rail through Anchorage, Talkeetna and Denali. The ship will also operate new round-trip Hawaii sailings from Los Angeles.
In Australia and New Zealand, Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice will operate 23 sailings from Sydney and Auckland, ranging from four to 14 nights. Celebrity Solstice will also sail South Pacific itineraries calling at Tauranga, New Zealand; Lifou, Loyalty Islands; and Mystery Island, Vanuatu.

Japan and Southeast Asia Sailings

The renewed Celebrity Solstice will operate its first full Japan season from April to October 2028, with Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, overnights in Kyoto and Aomori, and sailings during Golden Week and Gion Matsuri.
Celebrity Millennium will offer spring and fall sailings in Japan, including opportunities to experience cherry blossom, hibiscus and autumn foliage seasons. Together, the two ships are scheduled to make 17 visits to Okinawa.
Winter Southeast Asia itineraries will include Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and China, with overnight stays in Bangkok, Phuket, Benoa, Hanoi, Hong Kong and Penang. Celebrity Millennium will remain overnight in Hong Kong on New Year’s Eve ahead of 2029.

South America, Antarctica and New England

Celebrity Equinox will operate an extended South America season with 12- to 16-night itineraries across five countries and a return to Antarctica. The programme will include a 16-night holiday sailing in Antarctica. Overnights are scheduled in Valparaiso and Buenos Aires.

Celebrity Summit will sail seven-night Bermuda itineraries from Cape Liberty in May 2028, including two overnight stays in Bermuda, followed by 12-night Canada and New England voyages from Boston in September and October, including an overnight in Quebec City.

Summer 2028 Japan sailings are on sale now. Europe, Bermuda, Canada and New England open on 25 August 2026, followed by Alaska, Hawaii and South America on 1 September, and Australia and winter 2028-29 Asia on 29 September. Caribbean and 2029 Galapagos sailings are listed as coming soon.
