24 August 2026: SeaDream Yacht Club has listed two seven-night Wine Voyages aboard SeaDream II for 2027, both sailing from Nice to Rome (Civitavecchia).
The voyages will combine French and Italian destinations with exclusive onboard tastings involving winemakers from the featured estates. Each sailing will also include a Winemaker’s Dinner and specially curated Wine Yachting Land Adventures.
Italian Riviera itinerary set for May
The Italian Riviera Wine Voyage will sail from 9 to 16 May 2027, departing from Nice and ending in Rome. The itinerary includes calls at Portofino, Livorno, Capraia, Portoferraio on the island of Elba, Bonifacio in Corsica and Porto Ercole.
The voyage includes an overnight stay at Portoferraio. Livorno is presented as a gateway to Tuscany’s Bolgheri wine region, while the itinerary also features time in Elba and a visit to Bonifacio.
Onboard tastings will feature winemakers associated with Marchesi Antinori in Tuscany and Donnafugata in Sicily. SeaDream’s itinerary description also lists a Winemaker’s Dinner and specially curated land experiences at local wineries.
French and Italian sailing planned for August
The French & Italian Wine Voyage is scheduled for 15 to 22 August 2027. It will also sail from Nice to Rome aboard SeaDream II, calling at Sanary-sur-Mer, St. Tropez and Cannes in France, followed by Portofino, Livorno and Portoferraio in Italy.
The sailing will feature a visit to the Côte d’Azur destinations of Sanary-sur-Mer, St. Tropez and Cannes before continuing along the Italian Riviera. Livorno is described as a gateway to Florence and Pisa, while Portoferraio is the voyage’s final port of call before the ship reaches Civitavecchia.
The featured estates for this sailing are Château Smith Haut Lafitte in Bordeaux and Masi Agricola. The programme includes onboard wine tastings, a Winemaker’s Dinner and Wine Yachting Land Adventures connected with local wineries.
