July 24, 2026: Aman at Sea Aman at Sea has completed the float out of Amangati, its first ocean-going yacht, at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, according to an official press release issued by the company.
The construction milestone marked the completion of the yacht’s exterior build and its transition from dry dock to the water. The ceremony followed established Italian shipbuilding traditions and confirmed that the vessel’s hull had been completed, sealed, painted and made watertight.
Amangati will now move to the outfitting quay in Genoa, where work will continue on its interiors over the coming months. The next phase will include the completion of the yacht’s 47 suites, four restaurants, Aman Spa, Selora lounge and Marina.
Once the outfitting work is complete, Amangati is scheduled to undergo sea trials before delivery and final preparations for its first guests.
Construction Reaches New Milestone

Designed by SINOT Yacht Architecture & Design and constructed by T. Mariotti S.p.A., the Malta-flagged yacht measures 180 metres in length and extends across nine decks. It has a gross tonnage of 23,000 GT.
The name Amangati means “peaceful motion” in Sanskrit.
Accommodation and Dining Aboard Amangati
The yacht will accommodate a maximum of 94 guests across 47 ocean-facing suites. Each suite will feature full-height windows and a private terrace.
A crew of 207 will serve the yacht, providing a stated crew-to-guest ratio of 2.2:1. Every suite will also have a dedicated Suite Host offering an on-demand concierge service.
Four restaurants are planned aboard Amangati. Alira will serve Mediterranean cuisine, while Akari will offer Japanese dining. Hiori will specialise in teppanyaki, and Aman Grill will complete the yacht’s principal restaurant collection.
Social and entertainment spaces will include The Jazz Club, Cigar Lounge, Alira Pool Bar, The Bar at Aman Grill, Selora and a cinema.
Aman Spa and Marina Facilities
The Aman Spa will cover 740 square metres, or approximately 8,000 square feet, making it the largest spa in luxury yachting. Its facilities will include eight ocean-facing treatment rooms, each featuring a private terrace and whirlpool. The spa will also comprise a hammam, banya, fitness studio, yoga and meditation deck, beauty lounge and Medi Spa.
Direct access to the water will be available through the Marina on Deck 3. This area will incorporate two floating platforms and a selection of water toys, with the Selora waterfront lounge located alongside it.
The yacht will carry four limousine tenders and two open sport tenders. It will also have two helipads, positioned forward on Deck 6 and aft on Deck 9.
Mediterranean Debut Scheduled for May 2027
Amangati is scheduled to begin its inaugural voyage on May 7, 2027, departing Palma de Mallorca for Nice on a six-night itinerary.
The sailing will open the yacht’s first Mediterranean season, which will comprise voyages lasting between five and eight nights. The programme will cover destinations across the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Ionian and Aegean seas.
Reservations are open for the inaugural season and for the yacht’s newly added Caribbean voyages in autumn 2027.
